A Special Message to the Survivors of
Hurricane Katrina, Rita, other catastrophes and everyone else.


     After researching numerous sources and documents, disaster victims are now reporting they have been twice victimized, first by the storms, then by their insurance carriers and FEMA’s disaster assistance program. Victims from prior storms dating back to 2002 have reported similar problems – some are still waiting for their aid and insurance proceeds. Many are still living in FEMA campers, years after their loss. A private 6,000 hour investigation, conducted by a flood victim and nationally recognized fraud detection expert, has revealed how victims have been shortchanged, and what you can do to help yourself or others avoid a similar fate. It’s time to end this unfair practice in this country and for survivors and others to stand up and change the way we care for people of such catastrophic events. There are still people from Katrina who have not yet been reunited with their families. This is ridiculous and unacceptable in a country as great as ours. For those of you who are saying, this didn’t happen to me? I have news for you. We are the ones who are going to pay twice for this in the long term. Stand up and be heard. Write, call, and demonstrate to local, state and federal government. Educate yourself and see what these people are going through and help them to help themselves.
